How do I turn off AHB on a 2017 Corolla? There is no button for me to push and I absolutely loathe this feature. Let me choose when to turn on my high beams!

I've encountered this at night. As far as I'm concerned it's the driver switching between high and low beam. I can see low beams a long way back. What was wrong with traditional h4 h7/h1 bulbs.

I have a 2017 Rav4 when I am turning into my driveway I need the high beams so I do not drive into the ditch. The system will not turn allow the high beams to turn on - for some reason it thinks there is a car in front of me. I want to turn off the Automatic feature.

1:00, why make it so damn comlicated? Why not just make it as the EU models is... Push the stalk forward and the car does the rest itself. stupid that u have to press a button for ti to active and push the high beam stalk.

I'm definitely putting a piece of black tape over the sensor once I find it! I hate this so much.

How do I deactivate the cruise control assist that causes my car to slow down when I’m approaching a vehicle. I hate it so much. I want it permanently disabled.

Unfortunately AHB, in case of Toyota, is "unsafety" sense, and failure (could use also other words but would get censored).

Camera/firmware/software is lacking badly. If I compare them to Volkswagen and Skoda AHB functionality, they score 98% correct decisions and Toyota maybe 45%. The problems are:
- Switching to low beam too late when there is oncoming car
- NO POSSIBILITY to adjust the functionality
- If driving behind someone, not switching high beam on until the other car is miles away
- If using auxiliary lights (must have because for example RAV4 plugin's (2023) own headlights are ridiculously bad, like 5 years behind others), then AHB does not really work. There is so much more light that the camera/firmware/software cannot make the decision, if there is oncoming car or not. One has to manually switch to low beam (no problem with Volkswagen or Skoda).
- If anything else than clear weather, the above problems multiply by 3x

I cant stand this feature... it does not work well, it looks like youre flashing the high-beams all the time, blinds cars pulling out of drives etc.... Toyota, no more electronic Nannies
