I was a MC Instructor for a good few years, one of the last things I saw was someone's foot hanging off after a 5mph drop turning a bike....please wear boots.

Bonneville then, the reason you and your friends have trouble with the batteries comes down to storing these over winter and not leaving them on a trickle charger or periodically
running them.
I started with my first Bonnie way back in November 1980 and it was new Meriden bike.
I got a Hinckley as soon as they came out 2001 and am now on my 5th in all that time. Sensational bikes, lazy engines and look beautiful, you can commute, tour or whatever you like. A lazy low revving bike effortless to ride, and I have ridden loads of other bikes my friends have had but
they don’t have the soul, style or history the Bonny has. Mileage wise they are designed to last miles and my last one I chipped in 5 years ago at 44500. Never a problem with the last 2 though there were issues with the first two they were not related to the engine at all.
These bikes never let you down but as with anything they need caring for as per the manual and servicing at the listed intervals. The finish is also top drawer, stick with it mine does 80mpg when I’m bimbling around Yorkshire, it is better than wonderful my T100.

I got to do a full test ride review video for the channel on the Thruxton RS Chrome edition, beautiful looking bike. I do recommend wearing full bike gear though 😮
