I've been riding my Thruxton R for over six years with the fairing and love mine. After six years I decided to change the color to a candy apple red with gold leaf. The bike is deceptively quick and fast.

Well finally a reviewer that calls inverted forks, inverted forks. Instead of, upsidedown forks.
One thing about Thruxton compared to t100, t120, street twin, etc. Is, it's done, out of the box. No mods needed. Well, maybe some different slip-ons. Personally I would rather have a 900 with same tuning.
My T 100 is a 2005. I have slip-on outbound slashed pipes, seat cowl, triumph barends round. Pulled airbox with individual pod filters. The older air cooled had lots of chrome. Which I look like. I put a fly screen shield on it. A headlite visor.
But, standard bars. No clipons. I look like it. Around 70 HP is plenty for me. I'm old.
The 1200 looks great though.

Triumph is probably one of the best if you are looking for a beautiful retro style bike and if you are not after high speeds.

Only reason why I would get this bike over the speed twin is because of the adjustable suspension + you can get a aftermarket handlebar kit to get more upright on the bike 👌🏾

Just got my 1200fe! Classic beautiful British understatement. British racing Green n Gold with fairing! With a few other adjustments. A piece of art on wheels 🇬🇧

It IS Gorgeous Bro. Will say that your black lacquer tank looks so much better than the optional chrome tank. Did not Triumph think about the possibility of reflective glare shooting into your eyes when you drive?? It only takes one moment of glare blindness and that could be it for you. Your bike is SO Awesome. Coming in second place would be the green. Great looking brushed steel tank belt. Just a Superb Retro Cafe Bike. I got to test ride a 2017 Thruxton R while waiting for service on my BMW S1000RR. It was a suprisingly fun and quick bike for being 90 HP less than the RR. I was a big fan from that day on!

Beautiful bike, I’ve got a 2014 Thruxton 900. Could at times do with a bit more oomph so maybe I’ll upgrade to the 1200 in time. Looks awesome in the black.
