This is now typical. Hottest average day ever recorded on earth was two days ago. And we will look back on how cool it was in July 2024.

How is it that t the richest country in the world can not figure out a way to prevent or at least minimize wildfires? Maybe more equipment needed? More resources?

This is a repeat of the fires in the Canadian region, are they set deliberately? I know it’s seasonal but it seems unsure how they start.

Nothing but hot sun here in the North Bay Area CA for the past few months straight, it's surprising to me that there were lightning storms just a few counties away recently, I haven't seen so much as a cloud in quite some time!

There is no happy angle to this dilema.

We need to manage our forest better, wider fire breaks.
Clean up under brush. Bring in wild life like goats to eat back brush
And even harvest trees to make a healthier forest selective cutting.

Sad. They don't have the manpower in Canada to deal with the fires.

It is sad, but Yellow stone grew back or is growing back.

I am looking at the lake, mountains
And lush forest, before the fire
Its beautiful something i would like to have visited. As much as we hate large forest fires life will come back the ash will feed the soil trees will grow and in just a few years it won't look like it did right after the fire it will be a rebirth.

Just to the east of the Deadman Fire complex. Pyrocumulous cloud looked like a hydrogen bomb went off. Salute to all the firefighters out there. Confident this 1883 farm will be safe.

You know, frequency starts fires and puts them out as well. Just more of the sequestered technology that is being used to destroy rather then to help.

Never used to be this way until the environmentalist started screaming about the owls and chained themselves to trees. (Owls do fly) The loggers were the real hero’s. When they were working in the forest, they put out many of these fires. Now every summer they would rather let the trees and animals burn to death than selective cut and actually manage the forest. Thank an environmentalist next time your home burns or the smoke is so bad you have to stay indoors for months.
