70% of Jasper Alberta destroyed ...Jasper is a National Treasure. This is heartbreaking news. I feel so sad for all the wild life and pristine land we have now lost ( as a Canadian ) 😢😢😢

Jasper is one of the top 2 National Parks in Canada along with Banff, which is further south. If we lose the town of Jasper it will be heartbreaking! 😢

I hope Canada takes better care of the families who lost their homes than the families in Maui received after a fire destroyed Historic Lahaina Town.

the Jasper fire is very sad. So many people have enjoyed the hospitality and beauty of the pristine area. Prayers for the residents who lost so much.

Not an unusual thing?! These fires started off in July! Not in August when things are at their driest. Over 800, 000 acres have burned in Oregon w/ more burning since all the recent new lightning strikes. Did you even report that many of these were started by humans?! How about showing a map from the app 'Watch Duty', a little better investigating & present the full story...not just a sound byte...for the U.S. & Canada?
