Wildfires burn across parts of the western US

Firefighters are battling blazes in California, New Mexico, and Colorado.

Two words: Sanctuary state. Don't blame President Trump for not giving the State of California assistance. Blame your governor, senate and Congressman and Congresswoman.

Thank you for the report on the 416 fire, I live about twenty miles south of it. Thought you would like to know that the last update I received had the amount of acreage burned at; 2, 255 acres or close to it. Getting some rain, but unfortunately there has also been lightening. Actually my Husband and I have really been expecting a big fire to happen here for several years. God Bless You

With all the weather modification programs in action these days it's difficult to figure out if these fires are started on purpose or not !? But one thing is for sure, with all the capabilities that the military posesses, they can either start fires, prevent them and quell them ! Those are the facts ! Too many fires popping up mysteriously and no one at the top of the firefighting game questioning such !

Wildfires burn out of control. Translation: It must be a slow news day. Don't they say something like that, every few years? Why are all of these wildfires burning (because it is summer, that is normal for summer). Big forest fires blah-blah. Is this normal? (Actually yes.) What do you expect when we don't do enough wildfire preparation clearing, not enough firebreaks to protect populated areas? Not enough logging anymore?

it's hard to believe all these fires are starting only because of the drought. are people dumping chemicals out there or what? it's so bizarre that this is becoming an issue year after year now

California has terrible water management.
They have the heaviest gun laws there so there are more kids playing with matches.

Young man, go west! You can battle there at least against local wildfires and get your lungs full of wildfire smoke and ash that make you sweat and feel "hot", lol.
