The location in the middle of a lot is the best point. A lot of opportunity around you in Clovis/portales if you’re willing to get out of your house. All in all this place is horrible…. I’ve never been around so many people who’ve loved every bit of life until they arrived to this godforsaken place. I’ve watched people give up on their aspirations, dreams, and even careers to get away because they somehow ended up here. If you live literal anywhere else stay there or look at other options. The community is the most dogshit I’ve ever been exposed to, there’s are only 2 seasons, not 4… I think most people would also consider it a con that it will smell like cow shit year round and half of the year flies are absolutely inevitable and cannot be avoided… anywhere. Take the 190-220k you’d spend on a house here and put that towards something you’d be happier living in. Just me 2 cents. I and a lot of other people are tired of hearing how this place isn’t as bad as people make it out to be because it lives up to everything we’ve heard.
