👑🇬🇧 This queen character is not queen Victoria but Elizabeth II. Her appearance is matched with the real life figure. It is not only because this happened during the 200 hundred years anniversary of US independence but in her early years, real Elizabeth II had brown hair that can be painted as dark hair color in the anime.

The looking antique pieces of jewelry style are certainly inherited in royal monarch from Queen Victoria.

The blue Victorian costume with a sash is supposed to be the formal dress for some royal ceremony event while they are discussing this gift matter.

Also, Queen Victoria was very short, only 152 cm tall while Elizabeth II was taller than her great- great grandmother. So, compared the height of the queen in this anime with Mr.England in the scene where they are standing together, she is definitely taller than 152 cm.

Beside, Mr. England's suit is the modern 20 century style, not Victorian style.

I have a really high interest in countries and hearing or watching anything to do with countries gives me so much happiness. This has been one of my interest for years and my favorite character was always Finland 😭

I think this is supposed to be Queen Victoria rather than Elizabeth, as the episode is set in the 1880s, 100 years after American Independence.

He also calls her ‘Ma’am’, not ‘Mum’. Ma’am is supposed to be pronounced like that in the UK.

She even had the bells rung at westminster abbey after the assassination of president JFK, a practice customary only for the passing of a member of the royal family.
