The way that portrayed Lyle was ridiculous. Watching his interview with Barbara Walters you know that these boys were nothing like that. They are very intelligent and tremendously remorseful for what they did. Regardless of how they were portrayed, i still believe that were abused and should've been charged with some kind of manslaughter

It was so inaccurate.... Ryan Murphy really needs to just stop. These men deserve a new trial, not a sensationalized, campy, inaccurate portrayal of what happened.

Episode 5 was BRUTAL, the things that were described were awful to listen to

I very much believe they were abused sexually .. I understand Erick and Lyle weren’t the best ppl but clearly they learned that behavior from somewhere .. their parents.. it’s very scary and gross that their own dad did all those disturbing things to them..

It's ridiculous that they're still in jail! The parents were the real monsters!

The show was hard to watch especially about the abuse

'Monsters' is not a documentary, it is a mini drama series incorrrectly based on the brothers which does not stick to the truth

Even with the inaccuracies against them, the show still managed to confirm my beliefs their crime was justified. Listening to Blame it on the Rain gave me chills putting it into perspective how long they have been locked up. Our system is flawed.

If anything it’s helping them since it showed us what we learned they were abused by the parents

How did they see it if they are in prison?

I hate it when Netflix doesn’t tell the truth. The monsters were the parents.

Ryan Murphy cares about one thing. Money. He essentially creates a moving National Inquirer or Star magazine into film. He know that his story telling is going to create controversy. Ryan Murphy know that controversy creates conversation, which will get people to watch, because it will trend and then before you know it his pockets are full of cold hard cash

It’s a show not a doc. Poorly based on them? Yes. But is still a show.
