UPDATE: Toyota had us send the transmission over to their higher ups, they refused to tell us anything about what happened, they just sent us a new one and that's it. Very unfortunate as a dealer to not even be able to tell the customer what happened.

My Dad bought a 1993 Toyota pickup 22R. 4-Cylinder Stick shift…he gave it to me and still runs like brand new… Mileage on it 212, 139 Miles A/C nice and Cold…

My dealer has had 2 automatic transmission need replacement on the 24 as well the transmission won’t be here until mid to late June

i have a 2024 tacome trd off road and the gears on the manual transmission bumps and sometimes grind when i shift . it does it mostly on 1, 2 and 3rd gear

And i’ve been a loyal toyota tundra crewmax owner since 2007 - currently have a 2014 crewmax. Will never buy a 6 twin turbo.

Toyota will say Driver Error like they did with Truck King when the 5th to 3rd shift grenaded their trans. Toyota said that he went 5th to 1st but the truck never redlined. 🤦🏻‍♂️

and the suspension is super soft if a take a speed bump @ 10mph it goes all the waaay

My first car was a 95 taco. Truck was a tank. Manual 4 banger with 380k miles on it before I sold it

Always funny to see people forget about similar problems with the last generation. This kinda stuff happens on pretty much every first gen vehicle from almost all the major manufactures and happened with the beloved 3rd gen too lol.
