The Purple Ninja leak was so thorough that some guy actually made a page for him on the Ninjago Wiki. It was a good page too, just as complete as all the other pages and with other pages linked to it. It said the Purple Ninja would have time and space powers and could do crazy things like create black holes.

Using mismatched pieces without any printing is actually a pretty good idea for faking a leak, whenever Lego's making a new mold or designing a set they usually use blank white pieces. Source: a Lego Star Wars almanac from over a decade ago that I barely remember that had a portion about how the design process works
