It likely changed during production. The preliminary release summary teased a "final element" but all the current summaries don't mention any new element. So I'm assuming an earlier draft of the book contained info about a final element but that part was removed. Maybe it was to avoid spoilers for season 16, maybe it was because the plot of Seabound changed.

It feels weird that this book recognizes Storm and Wave as Elemental Powers instead of being part of the elements of Wind and Water respectively.

My theories regarding "the last element":

-Darkness, untill recently we weren't really sure if that was an element or not, with this book it's confirmed to be one, maybe the Overloard will create a "son/daughter" that has a human appearance and can use it?

-Wind, could it be that with "new element" they just meant a new master for a pre-existing element? I kind of doubt it but we never know

-Wave, I mean this book talks about it so it could be a possibility(?) maybe it's related to how they will bring Nya back to normal?

-Reflection, the girl from the Lego Ninjago reimagined short thing, that looks like an element in some way(?)

Well if there is anything I've learned from Avatar The Last Airbender and science class, it's that the main power of waves is from the moon. Soooo, Moon Power?

Personally, I think this "Last elemental power" isn't a completely new element. Though it would be exciting if it was, it just doesn't seem like there will be a completely new element, especially being how long it has been since Season 4 and 5 when we learned of the other elements. Now, as for what I think the last elemental power is, I think it is wind. If you think about it, wind makes logical sense when it comes to the "last elemental power". First of all, wind was the last element we learned about in the series itself, since we learned about it in Season 5, and the rest of the elements we learned about in Season 4, the season before it. Another logical reason is that in the book, the last element shown was wind. I think the reason why the book ended so abruptly is because the writers had information that they didn't want us to know about wind because then it would be too obvious, and wind was the last element shown, and some other elements have more pages to them then just one if we know alot about them. Like the ninja and Skylor, for example. Perhaps, the season we learn more about the last elemental power, we learn more about Morro and the wind elemental itself. We also may learn of a new person if they got the wind power. Another reason the writers probably ended the book abruptly is because they had info about the new wind elemental master, but they didn't want to spoil it. I just think wind is the last elemental power and another reason why is because we still don't know what happened to it after Morro died. We don't know who the wind chose for the next elemental master of it. There is just so much uncertainty surrounding the wind element, and it has always been the last element we learn more about after we learn about after learning more about other elements, and that is why I think it is the last elemental power. However, I could always be wrong, this is just a theory, after all

Hi Tanner, I have a theory and a question
Theory- I believe that the new elemental master of wind will be PIXAL because when she held the scroll of fs her eyes glowed white which can be associated with wind or ice but ice has been taken

Question- can someone please explain as to how Cole’s grandfather fought alongside the rest of the ninja’s parents/people who passed their powers down to them. I thought it was because he wasn’t Cole’s grandfather and actually a normal elemental master of earth and was killed so his powers were passed to Lilly who passed it to Cole but in the book of elemental powers, he is Cole’s grandfather and that it a canon book so my theory was crushed

Maybe it was referring to the last listed elemental power in the book and not the very last actual power maybe wind is returning
