Everyone saying this is because he spoke out against the migrant issue. Wrong. The investigation was going on long before he opened his mouth. And let's talk about that for a second...

He advocated NYC as a Sanctuary City and Advocated for keeping the border open when he became Mayor. Do you not remember the press conferences telling the migrants they are welcome here? Well, Gov. Abbott obliged and sent them here in busloads, and Mayor Adams arranged for the drop offs to take place at 1am so citizens wouldn't notice. Only problem is once they started filling up school cafeterias and hotels, his own voters noticed and turned on him. Not to mention just 1 year ago, he was happily pushing free debit cards.

He only spoke against the migrant issue once he realized his voters were going to vote him out in the next election.

He painted himself into a corner he couldn't get out of. This mayor never cared about the voters of this city. He only cared about himself.

This is a direct result of voters not being educated when casting their votes. We are electing criminals because we actually believe their empty promises. Remember, there are very few people that take these jobs based on love for their constituents, rather than what's in it for them. The penalties should be double that of you or I, as they should be held to a higher standard.
