You should name the queen ant Queen Septem. Septem is Latin for seven and she’s queen number seven. It also kinda sounds like scepter which makes sense because she’s the queen.

She is truly a Beautiful and Majestic queen Carpenter ant. I suggest you keep her and name her Lillemor, which means 'little mother' in Scandinavia or Aurora, which means 'new life'. For me, Aurora is much better.

Congratulations! These episodes remind me so much of the journey of my first carpenter ant queens (Camponotus ionius)! It was lovely and I had collected four of them on their nuptial flight, two years ago. I had named them 'queen#1' 'queen#2' 'queen #3' and 'queen#4'- just like you had. I ended up keeping two - one of them was injured and didn't make it, another died suddenly, five monts after the first generation of workers arrived. Since the two remaining colonies were growing pretty fast I ended up releasing one. The one left 'Queen #1' is now ruling a small empire, about 200 workers strong. Thank you sooo much for starting this series. It reminds me of my first ant keeping days: the enthusiasm of watching a queen lay eggs, that feeling of gratification when you see that first worker ant having its first meal... Maybe it doesn't sound nice, but I say you keep that name 'Queen #7', as remider :)

You should do experiments like this every year, to see any statistics in how many queen actually are able to start a colony and how it works with different species too!

As we said in the Day 39 video, we suggest to name her the Queen of Hearts.
As we've seen, she's had such a big heart when it comes to raising her new workers. Plus she's red just like a heart. And since she's the Queen of Hearts, of course the name of her colony would have to be Wonderland

You took a somber situation like not being able to be in Manila, worked with what you've got at Sonya's Garden, and now look at you! You hit the nuptial flight jackpot, and achieved a successful colony! Queen 7 is such a proud mama looking at her young, we stan a vibin successful queen. By raising these colonies, you give yourself something to look forward to each day. And by posting all these videos, you give us something to look forward to as well during tough times, and times we feel down.

I would name her "Lupa" - like the wolf that took care of Romulus and Remus, the legendary kings of Ancient Rome. That was the first thought that I had when I saw her and her two nanitics

Since they’re carpenter ants...

I suggest you name the queen “Heartwood” as she’s the heart of the colony + wood cuz she’s a carpenter ant
As for the colony itself, name them “The woodland sprites” u can also named them “Wood carvers”

Pretty sure you asked us to name her in the Day 39 vid (though that question was probably overshadowed by how many queens to keep and which ones). But alas, I'll repost my suggestion here since I think it's a unique choice:
Name the Queen 7's colony 7-Eleven. And name her Slurpee
As we are all aware, ants are everywhere. And so are 7-Elevens in countries like Japan, Thailand, South Korea, the US, and of course Philippines. So you could say every worker ant within the colony is a 7-Eleven franchisee. And why Slurpee? Well as we saw in another video, Queen ants feed their young, ant milk. The ant milk in this case, is the Slurpee "sold" (fed) to every 7-Eleven to keep them growing. It's also in reference to the fact that she is red, like a classic Cherry Slurpee

I suggest naming the queen: Queen Sunny, due to her slightly red tint and how bright she is! (How smart she is!)
