Clever girl is so iconic to me for the fact that they just kinda stare at each other as he does the one liner. He doesn’t aim at the raptor and she doesn’t pounce until it’s over, so great.

It doesn’t actually say she drowns and is left to theory. Ultimately she did die in the napalming of Isla Nublar regardless.

I always wondered why he didn't survive in the movie. He was the most skilled of everyone and, being a hunter, knew how the animals would behave. It makes perfect sense for him to survive.

Just realized that scene in JW where the Raptor gets blown by a rocket must be a direct reference to this, pretty cool.

Muldoon and Gennaro's buddy cop schtick is why I still want a faithful adaption of the novel at some point.

“Clever girl” line fits that scene so perfectly cause Muldoon had hyped the raptor intelligence so much over the course of the movie so when that scene comes the audience and Muldoon are like “oh my god these things are able to outsmart people!”
