In just about 100 years from 1st flight on earth to 1st flight on other planet. Amazing !!

Surely, another idea could be a hot air balloon which could be heated on demand using a gas canister activated by remote control. The balloon could have various cameras mounted on it and could have a long tether line, with a winch attached to the rover, allowing it to drift off a certain distance, then be reeled in again back to base and re-used.
