Actually, USSR didn’t put missiles to Cuba out of blue. They were put in response to US nuclear missiles in Turkey and Italy. In results of negotiations, US missiles were removed, but it was done quietly without announcement.

I can remember several years ago the Russians were complaining about missile systems in Europe and when the question was put to the Americans, they told the Russians that these systems were there to defend against an attack from Iran. So the Russians had to remind the Americans that the systems were not only aimed at them but when you look at the map, the location of these systems viz a viz Iran did not make any sense. All the way back then, the Americans were insulting the intelligence of the Russians and Mr Putin clearly has had enough of this American nonsense and lies.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the Soviets agreed to the withdrawal of their missiles from Cuba after the US agreed to withdraw its Jupiter missiles from Turkey, which triggered the USSR deployment in the first place.

Macron should push ahead with his goal to rule EU, first step is for France to leave Nato as he had previously threaten. Turkey would likely follow suit and probably a few other countries that sees Nato as a burdensome millstone.

NATO was supposed to be for defense (yeah right). The actions by USA and NATO are not defensive they are offensive even to citizens of NATO members. Break up NATO, cooperate with other nations and stop backing coups! Please military do not soldier for greedos and war mongers, help your neighborhood instead. Russia will not allow Ukraine to become part of NATO or allow missile systems in Ukraine. To allow such a move would be tantamount to surrender. Missile systems in Ukraine will be capable of shooting down Russia's ICBMs shortly after takeoff. That would mean Russian's nuclear retaliation would be nullified leaving Russia open to a first strike in the event of a nuclear war. Sanctions would not deter them from that position.
