Beautiful, sensual, artistic, compelling, atmospheric, and cinematic! Gorgeous!

Antonioni never compromised his principal belief that cinema is defined by images as opposed to theatre which is mainly dialogue based.
He was a master “image”craftsman and as time passes, his significant contribution to the art of cinema becomes more pronounced.

These edits makes me appreciate each director's work sooo much more. You do such a good job selecting not just the most visually striking segments from each movie but also the most contextually significant. Massive applauds for you.

The final shots of L'Avventura, La Notte, and Blow Up are simply high points of world cinema.

One of the best filmmakers of all time. When people seems to see nothing, images are full of meaning.

Some brave and scintillating choices here. It would been easy just to put Monica Vitti in ever shot. She was so very beautiful.

Hitchcock, the “Master of Suspense”, Antonioni, the master of the aesthetic.

A lot of these shots that you picked seemed to have a lot of "dreamlike" qualities to them. The locations and the sets that were filmed look like something out of my dreams

You missed one of the most classic shots. The ending in the passenger where the camera dollies through the bars on the window. That sort was destroyed by a cyclone the next day.

Every single shot of Red Desert is a painting. In fact, Antonioni painted his films as much as he shot them. For me the greatest director ever, but I guess not many will concur
