DIY Boxed Cake Mix Pancakes? Would That Work?!?!?

Giving this a shot..... was a thought I had. Wondered long enough if it would work, so i gave it a try.

I put more milk than what it says on the box to thin the mix down to pancake batter consistency

You can do this with waffles as well, I've done the same exact thing with chocolate cake batter in a waffle maker and they were bomb!

I've been craving chocolate cake waffles for so long, and that made me remember that I have strawberry cake mix in my pantry, and it's January rn so I'm thinking I'll make pink strawberry waffles for Valentine's next month cuz why not, I also ordered a mini heart waffle maker from Amazon 😋🤤💗🧇🍓

Food getting low don't have any flour or pancake mix but sure do have some cake mix, eggs, milk will give this a try.

I tried this but I actually cooked it on my 37 in propane griddle. Came out awesome. Instead of the mix you used, I used the super mooist strawberry mix. Maybe on the next attempt, I'll throw in M&Ms or chocolate chips

Medium low heat cooking spray is the way to go

The way you do this is to add oil or melted butter to the mix make it a thinner consistency and you'll be good on medium low heat works with any cake mix

I did this w reg pancake mix. But I added slices of apples and drizzled w top w coconut milk mixed w powder sugar and butter...like an icing
