Binding off or casting off on circular needles follows the same method as straight needles:
Knit the first 2 stitches in the round on to your right-hand needle.
Then use the point of the left-hand needle to lift the first (right) stitch over the second (left) stitch and off the needle.
Knit another stitch off of the left-hand needle and repeat the steps above.
Continue with this until you reach the last stitch.
Snip off the working yarn - be sure to leave a tail end of ~10 inches so you can weave in the loose end.
Draw the loose end of the yarn through the last stitch to secure the loop.

What a great tutorial! I'm a beginner knitter and found it really easy to follow. Knitting in the round always looked so complicated but I'm going to look up your pattern and brave my first attempt. Thanks for sharing x

Thank u so much for this! I had this project stuck on my circular needles since last year and was scared to try cast off because I was scared I would do it wrong and ruin all my hard work. Your explanation made it so easy to understand and I finally finished it!! I'm so happy I'm done with it's still cold and I can wear the scarf.

@L_LIN Hi, i was watching your "bind off in the round" youtube video. i am makeing a very short neck warmer w/circular needles (i am a beginner) and when i bound off my neck warmer and tried to pull it over my head i could not. the bind off stitches do not stretch wide like my "cast on" stitches. my Q: how do i bind off so the stitches are stretchy? do i just make the bind off stitches very loose? thanks

Also, could this be knitted on 32" circular needles? I know the pattern stated 24" but I only have the larger ones. Thanks in advance :-)

I was wondering, when working with circular needles, is it possible to drawstring castoff?
