Knitting tutorial: Tubular bind off for 1x1 rib

How to work a super neat and stretchy bind off for 1x1 rib. I always use this technique for neckbands, armbands, buttonbands etc.

I think the people who say this is a complicated tutorial don’t realise that it’s the technique itself which is quite complicated. However I think your video is super clear and if followed step by step (pausing when needed to) it’s really easy to follow. Thank you!

I have a roving style melange Shetland yarn, the Croft WYS and it is fluffy, stitching definition not its forte, but with your method I can see what I am doing! 🙏

Great example of tubular cast off on a flat piece. Worked perfect for me because I have done this before and saw a video Once of someone doing it in four separate steps and then doing it in two steps kind of the way you do it where there's the action where you knit off and then purl into the next knit stitch and then there's the action where you pull off and then knit into the next purl stitch. For anyone who is confused I think that it might help if they watch videos where all four steps are shown slowly and kind of as separate motions.
