Thanks Joe, I love those tubes images! The texture of the inside is awesome and how the light goes through it. Some very useful Photoshop tips as well 👍 Thanks again.

Joe I love your video set as we are stuck at home. No better way to improve your photography and exercise that creative muscle as you say. I completely agree with you and thank you for making shorter videos. Even 20 minutes would be optimal. Keep up the great work! You are very inspiring. Your Photoshop skills are very good, that's the part I need to work on even more than taking abstract photos.

Thanks for this series Joe--fantastic! A question––how to set the gradient tool to go from black to clear. Thanks.

This set reminds me of when I was a kid... I'd go down to the "water works" in the small town I grew up in and take my little 35mm camera to take pictures through all of the water pipe section stacked ;-) The Graflex 35mm had a fixed lens, 35mm, f/3.5... I would use an old tape measure to measure the approximate length to my desired focal point to set the focus.. Many of the shots didn't come out due to my poor exposure settings, but the ones that did come out were really cool! Of course I had to wait after shooting together the film developed, but stilll, similar to this exercise!!

I like how you created perfect symmetry in post! The orange one is my fav. I have to admit, I had no idea what to expect when I saw you with those tubes at first. You found interesting patterns and angles!
