The first single from Velvet Revolver’s debut album. “Slither” topped a composite world modern rock chart in June 2004 and was later #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart for 8 weeks. It was one of two originals performed at the band’s very first show and a staple of their shows for the rest of the band’s duration. In June 2018, fourteen years after the song was released, Guns N' Roses (with Slash and Duff McKagen back in the band) performed “Slither” live for the first time in Berlin, Germany.
