I saw them twice. They were a supergroup of the bands that I grew up with in the 90s.
I love them playing easy and brownstone.
RIP Scott.

When the original GNR went their own way it left such a gap for me in hard rock. Velvet Revolver filled that gap. Thanks and RIP Scott

Velvet Revolver sounded more like the wild and aggressive Guns of the 80s than the Guns of today. Fucking awesome badass band!! Duff's bass is fucking great

I can't believe how long ago Velvet Revolver came out, it seems like yesterday I was buying their first CD.

Been awhile, I forgot just how freaking incredible this band was! Probably the best of all the superbands, they were just such a powerful group that wrote classic songs! Amazing band!

What a frontman Scott was. Saw him 3 times, STP once and VR twice. Always on 11, thats one more than 10.

Seeing this gig on TV changed my life. I went and bought the CD from ASDA the same week.

That group of musicians with Scott, one of the greatest of all time, were truly spectacular.

I’m a huge Velvet Revolver, STP and G n R fan but that intro was totally Jane’s Addiction

Every time i see scott, layne, shannon, kurt, amy, jeff, etc... i get so fucking sad. I hope, wherever they are, theyre able to see just how appreciated they are. If i could say anything to them, I'd just say "thank you for all you gave us. Sorry you had to go so soon. Although your physical body might be gone, the music you created will never die. Long live rock n roll."

Had the pleasure of seeing AFI at Not so acoustic Christmas show. I'm 62 and my Son turned me on to this great band. I myself love listening to different styles of music with great hooks.
