MAN, Duff's bass was crushing in that Letterman mix. What a great recording.

I saw Velvet Revolver at the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide Australia in 2005. Now I’ve been to a lot of gigs in my life (I’m 43 this month) but never before or since have I ever seen a frontman come out on stage and immediately own the stage and every single person in that venue like Scott Weiland did. It was like watching something that you couldn’t quite believe was happening but was. A once in a lifetime talent

I saw Scott Weiland about 7 months before he died. His vocals were perfect. His performance was amazing. Met him after the show and he was so incredibly nice, put his arm around me and took a picture even though I always read what a jerk he could be. I love that photo. I think he was one of the best frontmen in rock and roll.

For 22 minutes I can pretend I'm 22 again no back pains no body aches just adrenalin hormones marching full force ahead with no doubt or hesitation... Thanks Scott and STP 🤘

Calling it "fabricated and formatted" like some genius did recently makes a mockery ofthe last 15 years of so called music in the charts. For god´s sake, these guy´s played live, sung live and let all small misstakes go unfiltered, no vocal tracking / correction or other gizmos. Interesting enough, huge bands now are all over the internet cought in moments when they missed their lip-syncking or play-along-looking-cool moves. Like the music itself or not (I don´t), at least give ém credit for actually PLAYING for feckers sake :/

I'm so blessed I got to see Scott Weiland and Chris Cornell before they died. (Cornell 3 days before we lost him.) I'm just glad we have videos to get my Layne fix.

Weiland was one of a kind. STP isn't the same without him. We were lucky to get another set of albums from them before it all collapsed again from his demons. RIP Scott.

One of the greatest lineups in history 🔥

If I had a time machine I would transport back to that performance and experience it live. As much shine as Slash and Weiland received for this band, Duff and Matt were an incredible rhythm section.

What a presence - drawing from Jagger, Morrison, Bowie and Iggy Pop. RIP Scott

This is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Had they stayed together and Weiland survived, they would have been in the HoF without question. Weiland was arguably the sexiest frontman in history among the likes of Jim Morrison, Mick Jagger, and Freddie Mercury. Not many lead singers sound as good or better live, and he was one of them. Whether he was belting out a screaming rock anthem or a smooth, emotional ballad, his "instrument" was perfect and his energy was always amazing!
