Quantum physics and Relativity both make quantitative predictions about the real world that can be verified by experiment. String theory, not so much.

People need to understand that simply because something makes logical sense does not mean that it is correct. Logic is ultimately about A leads to B which leads to C. But for A to be true, it must also have some kind of progenitor from which it could be derived. But then that progenitor must have its progenitor as well. This way, we can go as far back as we want to go and ultimately we will end up with with some fundamental first principle axioms which are just assumed to be true. However, how do we know if the first principle axioms are true or not? The only way to find out about that is experimental verification. And this is the reason why string theory is a failiure because even though it makes sence, it does not have any experimental verification behind it.

Strictly speaking, String Theory is neither a ‘theory’, nor a scientific endeavor, since, as it stands, it’s not even falsifiable. The best way to describe the String Hypothesis, at the moment, is that it’s a mathematically-based philosophical reverie.

Many years ago Stephen Hawking was spotted in a strip bar. He claimed he was researching String Theory — G-string theory.

No. Einstein's theories on gravity only work until a certain point and quantum theory is trying to make sense of what's beyond a certain point
