Is the TSA separate from baggage handlers?
If you're going to lock your luggage, then it has to be a TSA compatible lock.  TSA compatible locks are ones that the TSA has a master key to so they don't have to break your lock to search your luggage for security reasons.

 Who puts their wallets and purses with credit cards in them, in  their checked luggage, .
Try carrying those things on the plane with you.  Anything valuable you can't carry on in a carry on bag, , then leave it at home .

Use empty tampon box put cash it seal with tape. Nobody looks in there.

Those guys are lucky to have good jobs, why throw it away? If given the choice to steal a quick hundred bucks versus a solid paycheck every other week, I'd put in an honest day's work.
