Recently came to know, if you have multiple tickets, the total should be 15kgs* No. Of tickets.
My bag was 17 kgs and my friend's was 13 so the lady allowed both of our bags without any weight shift. Indigo is awesome

That's true but you have to book your tickets atleast a week or ten days before the journey to avail additional baggage allowance and you need to enter your students ID details at the time of purchase

I m an ex indigo employee..and i was a subject matter expert.. Its only applicable when you book under STUD(student fare) and not only that you also get 6% of discount on the base fare..amd also you need to bring current ID card which is not expired and should be in English
