“DR DR F” may be a reference to the UK radio DJ from the 90’s and 2000’s called ‘Dr. Fox’.

Back then he hosted a popular radio show playing the top 40 chart singles every weekend. Although DMA/RockStar North are based in Scotland the London based radio station the chart segment were aired on were broadcast UK wide.

The jingles used for ‘Dr. Fox’ used a segment from Robert Palmers ‘Bad Case of Loving you’ interrupted by an obnoxious American voice saying “FOX”.

So, the jingle would sound like “Doctor, doctor FOX”. It’s a bit of a stretch but he was still on the air and TV by the time GTA SA came out. Speaking of S.A. though, Fox was arrested in 2014 while on the premesis of the radio broadcaster he was working for.

You’d have to ask a RockStar dev from the UK if Neil (Dr. Fox) Fox was involved in the games like Laslow was, for all I know he may be in the credits since he was a comedian too not to mention they used a IRL UK radio DJ Giles Peterson further down the line in GTA V. It might have been a chart show radio station with Dr. Fox and it was cut for whatever reason. They had chart show bits with Head Radio in previous games GTA 1 and GTA 3, but this is all speculation.

As a spanish viewer, seeing Detenshion get credit out of nowhere was incredibly surprising, he was one of the OG San Andreas myth hunters, nowadays though, he barely uploads any content and when he does he barely gets any views, thank you for reminding me about him.

Fun fact in 2004 RenderWare was bought by EA, the problem is Rockstar uses this Engine to make their games, Rockstar probably hated that EA was buying RenderWare and decided to make their "EA Sucks" statement.

17:05 It's probably because in 2004 Criterion Games, the creators of the Renderware engine on which GTA runs, was bought out by EA who started to reduce support and hence Rockstar's reaction.

The fact about the Tornado being a secret fighter aircraft is something I learned today. The Beagle bug situation was also very interesting, in fact, the mod that brings the PS2 map features replaces the plane's spawn point with a Walton instead of the BMX.
