Just a fun trip/trick, but if you max out respect, recruit a bunch of gang members and go get a bus from the airport (you can only get a bus at an airport) you can fit all your gang members in it. Drive to Ballas territory and let everyone out. Learned that from the old game guide book.

Hope the younger generation plays this and see why Specifically GTA SA is one of the greatest games of all time

"San Andreas as you remember it in your head" is the best description for all these remastered games

I never understood why future GTA games didn't have RPG mechanics like San Andreas.
The ability to get fat or fit, the ability to learn different martial arts styles, and the ability to improve your stamina by running or swimming a lot, and so on. These things should have been evolved and expanded upon in the later games.

This definitive edition release will finally show the 2010 generation exactly what us old heads have been describing to them about San Andreas. It is and will remain the greatest GTA game of all time

this truly was an unbelievable game when it came out. I'll never forget playing it nonstop with my older brother

I’m so stoked to replay these games. But San Andreas in particular. I might have to even start with San Andreas because I’ve already been meaning to replay it for a couple years now.

"It's not like Resident Evil 2 rework, it's like how you remember Gta San Andreas in your head." Never heard a more true statement in my life. After revisiting older classics such as, Battlefront 2, Infamous, Call of Duty 2, ect. I remembered them being perfect games with good enough graphics but playing them again I was kind of disappointed.. (All those games are still amazing!)

Pro-tip:

As soon as you’re able to control CJ, go out to Montgomery (small town north of Los Santos) and do the paramedic missions, they’re way easier out in the sticks and you get max health when you finish and decent amount of cash for doing these

So, number 5 is definitely not a “brand new game feature”, gang warfare/color coded territories were for sure a part of the original version. Still fun to do that again, tho!

What’s he says at 1:40 is so true . You just had to be there when it came out . This was an absolute revolution in gaming .

Nearly 20 years later and I still have the Jetpack cheat code etched into my muscle memory.

A neat trick I learned a few years ago is when a rival gang is attacking your hood you can go in a gym. When you come out the attack is over and the hood is still yours.

"You picked the wrong house fool!!!!"
"like it says in the good book, we are blessed and cursed...same things make us laugh make us cry"
"I'll have 2 number 9's a number 9 large a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7 two number 45's one with cheese and a large soda"
"All you had to do was follow the damn train CJ"
"They'll remember my name...Big Smoke they'll say"

In 5 lines of dialogue Big Smoke was more memorable than any other GTA character

I remember playing through GTA 1, 2 and London, then hearing of the releases of GTA 3 and Vice City but it was the build up to the release of San Andreas that gave me that first experience of being incredibly excited for a video game release, buying all the PlayStation magazines on release day to get the latest screenshots and any info!

I'm playing them in order...I want to re-experience the improvements from game to game.
