Mazda3 Hatchback Luggage Test

We were impressed with the latest Mazda hatchback in this 2023 Mazda3. Not only was the interior on par (or better) than some upscale German and luxury car brands, the cargo space was deceptively large. We were able to fit ALL our luggage in the 20.1 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats.

I managed to fit one passenger in front seat, a baby with a car seat, and then with the other back seats folded down three check-in size suitcases, four carryon bags, and one stroller. I love my Mazda3. 🎉

I bought the M3 hatchback 2022, after 37K miles still in love with it. Also I’m a active cyclist 🚴🏻‍♂️, I get to slide my bike in the back with no issues, just fold down the seats and you get amazing space 👍
