In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Mazda3 #Hatchback then take it for a test drive. The Mazda 3 Hatchback gained 5 hp for 2023 and special Carbon trim exclusively for the Turbo hatchback for 2024. Mazda adds a larger infotainment screen for the turbo trims but they still have quirks which will bring me to my pros and cons.

Love my 3 hatch. Best and most fun I have ever owned and I have owned 3. I don't know whey everyone goes on about touch screens. I have a phone already. I don't care about touch in a car.

I got a 24 premium MT. I love it. The sound system is the best 12 speaker Bose. I see people are complaining about the sound system they definitely wouldn't with a premium trim.

Got a preferred trim, a couple gripes, no rear speakers my 2012 Ford focus sounded better, and no accessory 12v port. Overall though love the car and wouldn't switch it out for the Hondas, Toyotas, and Subarus i test drove. Although the 2024 Impreza came close. Mazda 3 just has a superior interior at the similar trim levels

I bought the 2024 Prefered Hatchback after comparing it extensively to the Civic Ex hatchback and the Corolla Se and the decision was a no brainer. The Corolla is subpar to both competitors in every way, but people pay more for close to 100% reliability but I’ll settle for 99% and get a much better car. I like the civic Ex but the final price difference compared to the 3 after unwanted dealer add-ons and marketing adjustments was $4.5k or more. So it’s not a comp to the Mazda3 2.5.

The interior is best in class and I personally like the natural vs turbocharged engine in a Civic . A turbo engine gets better performance, but the additional stress will surely shorten the engine life. No problems at 11 months and very happy with the decision.

I’m 6’1” tall, I have the PP turbo in red and I fit behind myself just fine because I don’t sit and position my seat as if it was a recliner like so many of the younger drivers do today… as if you were riding in a low rider!

How difficult or easy is it getting in and out of front seat for less flexible older people?

I test drive it and don't like the rear suspension, it's seems lost when cornering and blind spot is horrible. Interior quite though

I don’t understand why Mazda does not include independent wheel suspension in the back!😮 I have a 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback GT and the rear suspension sucks! Everything else is awesome!

I always had cars with torsion bar rear suspesion. They are comfortable and good to drive, it is a lighter, cheaper and more compact arrangement clearing up more space for yhe boot but i have to admit I wanted to try a multi link for my next car.

With a full 360 view, this would be great. I think its only on the very top trim. It can't cost that much to install this tech, so they're just reserving it to get people to go for the top end one. Could they just add a bit to all of them and put it on every model? Its going to be standard on all cars in a few years, like most tech that comes along and starts at the top end models. Remember when CD players were a luxury item in cars?

I own a '24 Mazda3 and honestly can't tell any difference coming from my old civic which had independent rear to a torsion beam.
