The kids I went to med school with were like, 3rd generation doctors, Daddy gave one kid a Porsche for passing step 1, several were going to go back home and work to buy the family practice after residency. One kid was stoked that he was in a certain dorm because his great, great grandfather payed to have it built. Me? My folks didn't graduate high school.

For real, you can read my mind. I just finished my first year and am rather a minimalist when it comes to my studies, doing lots of different things next to it. I had to stop talking about certain things to certain mates, as I just get stressed out about how much they do. I just want to pass, but others spend so much time learning, I worry that I'm not doing enough. This skit is extremly accurate :D Thank you so much, love watching your content :)

Interventional cardiology means sitting in a cath lab doing caths for the rest of your goddamn days and electrophysiology means sitting in a cath lab doing EPs and ablations for the rest of your goddamn days.

In fact, all specialties in medicine are like this. Just pick the one you hate the least by the time you're done with med school and you'll be fine.
