From the pen of the genius of John Prine, to the smoky pipes of the best female blues/rock voice of a generation, to God’s ears.

Some songs just reach into your soul and live there forever. This is the one.

How damn good was that .... brought tears to my eyes, maybe I'm a sad old 69 year music fan ...

The depth of this band is remarkable, and getting deeper the longer they play together.

It amazes me how far music has become so bad. These people can play, in this age everything is autotuned and computer generated . Thank the Lord that there are still great musicians out there like Susan and Derek to let people know how it is supposed to be done. Thank you for all the wonderful music you have blessed us with over the years.

Best working band today. No gimmicks, just raw talent. Awesome.

This is my daughters favorite song. We listen to it together 10x a week. Today was the first time I listened to it without her and I’ve been ugly crying for 20 minutes now. Y’all really are such a special band. Thank you.

Who in their right mind would do a thumbs down for these guys? WTF? Really. Susan has the voice of an angel. Seriously good music. Hope to see them in Australia one day.

As a 14, 000-year-old music fan, this is way better than when Crag spent all night banging those rocks together.

How good is your band when you sound this magnificent while the best living electric guitar player is taking a piss break?

I just saw them perform at the White River Amphitheater in the outskirts of Seattle last night. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Derek's high-flying guitar act tempered by Susan's vocals. Her own blues guitar getting a chance to shine as well. If you're a fan of blues, blues rock, or just plain good music played well, you should give them a listen. And yes, she performed this song. Interestingly enough, I saw Bonnie Raitt perform this song last week. Bonnie's version broke my heart. Susan's gave me hope.

I first saw and heard Susan on a local morning TV show in Providence Rhode Island back in the early 1980's. This young girl was belting out a song with crisp, powerful vocals with the sound of an old blues legendary soul. I couldn't believe my ears. I was instantly a fan. I stood there looking at the TV and watching. I was just stunned. It left such a lasting impression on me. 40 years later and the quality and sound is still crisp, clean, and genuine. Absolutely an amazingly talented person. I could never appreciate any fabricated pop "flash pan" performer because they could never compare with such real natural ability as Susan. What a wonderful blessing to listen and enjoy all these years!
