I don't care who you are, 80k for a half ton do nothing is ridiculous.

I Love the look of the current Silverado.. however it's still not worth $80k+ regardless of how the manufactures try to normalize these insane prices.

$80, 000 is a "bargain" for a depreciating asset that loses value immediately when being used?

How much Kool-Aid have you all been drinking over at TFL? You'd have to be *high as hell* to think that is anywhere close to a deal or bargain.

These prices are flipping insane and just keep getting higher and higher.

The bronze in the grille is a really nice touch and in person, looks really classy.

Agreed, the interior is beyond disappointing.

80k+ a bargain? That’s going to take lots of convincing
Edit: Ford has Lariat and King Ranch below the Limited and both are pretty luxurious

I paid $26k for my Silverado extended cab 5.3 liter in 2000

I gulped 20 years ago. Payment was $435 a month.

I realize wages have gone up over the last 20 years, but I am not sure if my salary has tripled in 20 years like this truck price tag.

Back in the 80's old men drove the Cadillac convertible or Sedan. Now they drive one if these things. It's Boss Hog all the way! This this isn't hauling gravel in the bed, it's gonna haul golf bags.

It’s $80, 000 because people are letting this happen just to have a new shiny thing . It has to be 80k less chance of you paying it off. Higher chance of you trading it on for the next shiny thing. With interest you are looking at 90k. Basically 9 regular used trucks that do the same thing. Same motor same 4 wheels same fuel mileage. It’s not like this thing gets awesome fuel mileage. They just keep remolding plastic and adding more features for entertainment cause driving new cars is so boring now. Be another truck where after 20 years they are still 25k just because it has a diesel and 170, 000 miles.

80k for a half ton truck is what you call a waste of money. I got a used 2017 Bighorn Ram 1500 Crew cab 4X4 hemi with 28k miles on it for 29k. Keep that Chevy I can actually afford my truck

"High Country", got to be stoned to pay 80 K and tax. ... All the auto makers are way over pricing their products.

Nope not convinced, not worth it and not a bargain.

22" wheels should never be used on a truck. First time you hit a curb your wheels are going to get damaged because you have no sidewall. They're more for looks than function.

Yeah I love the look. It’s best looking Silverado ever. I bought the Trailboss for just over 40k pretty standard but still an awesome truck. Interior doesn’t bother me. It’s comfortable and simple.

Only thing this has over my 2014 f250 king ranch is the wireless charging and heated rear seats. I have everything else and it’s a 2014. So for the most part your about 6 years behind.

Great channel! One of the only car/truck YouTube channels that gives their real opinion. Keep doing what your doing! :)

Sorry, I’m not convinced. Anything over 50k is ridiculous for a half ton. Wish trucks were still in the 20’s and 30’s. My 2019 colorado(yes a mid size) LT varaint 4x4 pretty loaded for that trim level(less than a z71) was $28, 600.
