Got to briefly meet Dr Nichols at the Columbus Conference. I've only been a Christian for several years now. It was very helpful to attend a Ligonier event, listen to some great speakers, buy some great books, and be with like minded brothers and sisters in the Lord.

The Angel declared to Mary 'Behold I bring you Good News of Great Joy that shall be for all people' and the Baptist proclaimed 'Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the Sin of the World'. Steve Nicholls seems like a nice guy but his answers severely undermine God's intention to make Mankind in His Image. Romans 11v32-36. Grace and Peace

That was a disappointingly underdeveloped answer on the Church Fathers. I would suggest reading a Larger Hope by Illaria Ramelli to get a good grounding on what is a vast source of material.
