I a.m blessed by Dr R. Godfrey, first rate church historian, for he is always there in his faithful service and ministry for God's glory. These three - Drs RC Sproul, S. Ferguson, R. Godfrey - have been together in this ministry.

I Really Miss RC Sproul. I a.m glad Dr. Sinclair Ferguson is still there and "holds the Fort." The Lord Will raise UP Young New theologians and Bible teachers WHO Will continue the Ministry that Dr RC Sproul had started to spread the gospel to the world for the Glory of God.

My husband is totally against election. We are opposed here. Married 31 years I say it’s ok. Actually he is coming around a little. No arguments ever

"To mortify sin in our flesh...A brokenness, contrition. We are truly broken by our sin...That we would hate our sin as much as God hates it."
"And most of us, we kind of adore our darling sins. And we've got to pray that God would help us love Christ more than our sins."
So on the one hand, we're probably not truly saved if we don't hate our sins; yet, on the other hand, we "love" our sin(s)? How does that work? How can anyone know they are saved if they are supposed to hate their sin, yet they know they love their sin?
What do you do with the addict who struggles to be free from drug addition, yet loves the high. Or the person who constantly fails in their struggles with being attracted to the wrong people? Shy of a direct miracle of God (which is extremely rare - thus the use of the word "miracle"), that attraction will never go away! How are they ever supposed to know they are saved?

Sharing with the gay neighbor: at a conference in Burnet TX May 18, 2024, on this very subject: by one who came out of decades in LGBTQ … they know from the START they are doing wrong: but a loving friend comes first. As a black pastor just preached, his father said “you can’t clean the fish before they are caught.” Likewise: those who are very hurt and abused themselves from youth by physical abuse, porn, or their own “discoveries” CANT picture Jesus loving them / they must see you love them first anyway. So I gravitate to Sinclair above the “even if they hate us” chap

Love Dr. Godfrey- makes me feel encouraged. Rest joyfully in ehat Christ has done for us. Dr. Ferguson tutored kindly so long now. Justified by the righteousness of Christ. My faith in Christ, my Union with Him. Chosen then predestined His purpose. 3, 000 souls saved snd Baptized Pentecost - Peter’s First Sermon. Hard Truth snd tragedy of a loved one, a girl choosing a girl, my niece. I did not severe my niece. She moved 3, 000 miles away to spare the family. I message my love as her aunt remains and I continue as a Christian. She responds with love for me and respect for God. R.C. said once, why doesn’t God just kill us all dead in one particular story of justice, be careful when you adk for justice. Restraining Mercy of God, His Patience. Humanity snd Deity in Christ. God has given love in Jesus although we can’t understand God’s Love. Don’t grieve the Spirit. Some of character of God. ❤ What an humbleness and wealth of wisdom in God here in this discussion, these men of God. Wonder end of the day. Maturing . Sitting under great preaching, teaching. Amen. Recognize the triggers for the sin. Amen.
