These are at the right intersection between affordable and effective! If a product is super cheap, but then ineffective/ has bad ingredients/ false promises, that's still money wasted. These are great recommendations, thanks for sharing! :)

If you have recommendations for skincare for PIH/PIE or uneven skin tone please share 🥺
Would love a video on your complete skincare routine too(regardless of price)!

Edit - I am not going to suggest cheap products just because they are cheap, these are the only tried and tested budget skincare products I can recommend because I trust them.

Idk why you guys are bashing her but these are actually good affordable and no nonsense recommendation. From my experience some under the budget products are:
1. Cleanse me and simple face washes.
2. I don't like using toners much but the only toner I tried is minimalist PHA toner and i loved it.
3. Minimalist serums are bomb.
4. Dot & key probiotics and ceramide moisturizer, minimalist sepicalm oats moisturizer and deconstruct ceramide moisturizer.
5. Aqualogica sunsreens
6. I don't use eye creams and lip balms. What I do is apply all the skincare products on my lips and top it off with a Vaseline but for now I'm currently obsessing over nipcare it's so good except for the smell tho

That's it guys!
The number one advice i could give is to stay consistent and don't give up after a week or so.

Skin care isn’t cheap anyway and very cheap products won’t even give results. So these are quite affordable compared to other expensive skin care products. This video is actually very helpful❤ I swear by your suggestions Prakriti cause you’re so genuine and authentic. Definitely will try a few products from this video 🫶🏼👌🏻

Your skin is goals 🙌🏻

The products that worked for me are :
1. Cleanse me and minimalist oats cleanser. (Non- foaming one)
2. Minimalist LHA BHA cleanser and simple moisturizing cleanser.
3. Minimalist PHA toner ( I don't generally use toners)
4. Cosrx Snail Mucin essense
5. Dconstruct vitamin c and ferulic acid serum. This is a magical product sadly, I don't get the same results by the plum vitamin c serum.
6. Minimalist 10% niacinamide serum.
7. Bioderma atoderm creme (for dry weather) and formula RX malassezia moisturizer.
8. Minimalist squalane oil.
9. Aqualogica green sunscreen.

Yess I use so many of these and they work if you are consistent. Personally I thought nothing was working on my skin but I kept using them and after 1 year I could suddenly notice a huge difference.
I'm happy with my skin now.

All these products are on the drugstore range. I really don't trust skincare below that. Personally from what I have researched, ultra cheap skincare in Indian market, most of them have shady ingredients and mask their bad formulations with tons of fragrance😭

Don't mind the negative comments.. this is probably what the least cost of good skin care products.. just wanted to ask what'd you reccomend for the under eye bubble thing that forms and undereye creams

idk why people are hating on this, affordable is different for different people and skincare is usually a little expensive than makeup, you can use cheap makeup and it won't have as bad affect as cheap skincare; i am not saying that there are no good cheaper skinare products it's just if she's recommending this it's because she has tested it and feels they're good enough to recommend

I mean - affordable is relative. This is technically affordable in comparison to high-end skincare. All of these products are high quality and work wonderfully (have used them myself). Typically for this quality and feel, you need to pay 2-5K. Have tried tons of high end skincare products as well. So in comparison to those products, it’s affordable. I’ve tried cheaper products and they didn’t do shit for my skin. These are the only ones that have been effective. But yes, these are not “cheap” for sure. But they’re effective :) Thanks Prakriti!

Anything above 200 should not be considered affordable 😭

*For the people who is here to comment about price: Please invest in a good product.. Good products have to pay price* . I started to use plum products 4 years back. During that time it was an expensive brand. So I saved the money and bought products. Still I'm using it and worth of my money. Before that I spend money on cheap products and damaged my acne oily skin.. Now I'm having skin without acne and I'm happy. And I switched my bodycare, haircare, skincare completely to plum. I tried minimalist products too.. But unfortunately it doesn't worked for me. Skincare is kind of trial and error.

Best and most efficient skin care
Day time - gentle cleanser, vit c, moisturizer and sunscreen
Evening time - double cleanse, retinol, moisturizer

And one don't have time for these but wanna protect skin just use sunscreen day time can 100% skin serum 💁🏻‍♀️ and at night do double cleanse and retinol based moisturizer 😉

This is just a suggestion: it would be great if you give a recommendation of all in one moisturizer, a nice sunscreen, cleanser etc. In my opinion affordable would be something even a college student can afford.

Ok these are actually the best bet at having high quality results with midrange price. However for a basic skin care routine here js my list of affordable skincare routine:
1. Ponds hyaluronic gel moistures- saved my skin at one point
2. Dermaco hyaluronic acid gel sunscreen/episoft AC - invest in a good sunscreen
3. Simple face wash
For oily skin, the dermaco suncreen is a one and done product. If u have dry skin, layer dermaco over the ponds. Use ponds as a night cream too. U can use any aloe jel for hydration too.
