In the PC version, the Action X was the "balanced" British medium that replaced the FV4202, which was considered broken OP in PC world. However, just like having both the WT auf E100 and it's replacement the Grille 15, we have both the Brit mediums. And, somehow, on console they aren't as toxic. We have the AVRE for that...

One of my favourite maps highway as long as both teams have a small fast light or both teams have slower lights.
This map is usually decided by who has the better light players or which team has the vanguard.

I loved this tank on my old account. I’ve switched consoles and haven’t played for over a year, a lot has changed. I’m hoping the grind is still worth it but you’re not filling me with confidence mate! The major problem I found with the Cent AX was it isn’t the Chieftain!

I don't have it yet. I will in a day or 2. But playing against it, it's honestly been free damage. Alot of players try to play it hull down constantly with it. I can pen the copula on reload. It's such a easy weak point to hit.

Hey there, Eclipse! Great video... made some really helpful points regarding gameplay, and for that, I thank you!

I actually got the AX a couple years ago on a Key Card. Didn't really play it much, and didn't think too much about it. I was like, "Another free Premium... okay, thanks!"

But, getting it again as an Award Tank in the Battle Pass gave me 4, 200, 000 Silver, which I didn't think was too shabby... 4 million Silver for a tank that I got for free in the first place! Why the hell not, eh?

How do you spawn on the good side on Highway? I always spawn on the crappy side 9 times out of 10. I never see a YouTuber post a good game from the other side.

I like the AX better than 4202. I find the gun is better.

Playing this tank aggressively is not desirable. The Action X is a pretty solid and versatile tank, when playing mid to long range. I got better results in it than with the FV4202. I prefer the 330mm HEAT over the 210mm HESH, as it gives you a better option against the better armoured stuff. Plus the extra view range.

The gun is pretty reliable even without vert stabs, so you can use a camo net to gain on concealment. Also the 1040hp engine really give this tank some overall mobility, apart from the top speed. There is a reason, why this platform was partially used for the Chisel.

Also keep in mind that the FV4202 needed a buff a long time ago to be competitive/preferable. When it had only 40 kph top speed there was a good reason to go for the AX instead.

So, you touched on a couple of things in this video that has prompted me to type a response...first, yes, there are way too many Centurion AVRE's running around derping everything. Five a game on each side is no fun. Cold War is worse with 5 Weasels and 6 Thumpers tearing everything up. WG is trying to break the game. As for the Action X (my second thought), it was one of my favorites but seems to have fallen by the wayside with the introduction of other tanks. The X had great gun handling, very agile mobility, and a turret that can (could) block a lot of damage. I can 2 mark my tanks and that one was one of the easiest in my opinion. So, where's the fun Eclipse? What value is WG bringing me that makes me want to spend my hard earned money? I watch your videos in vain searching for something, anything, that might be coming out that will be fresh and exciting. Something taking us back to the good ole' days when we could platoon and have good strategic battles against other players of whom had some skill. I wish some other company would start making a tank battle game that was not so...(you finish the sentence). Thanks again for taking the time to create content about a company that is severely lacking to provide any of their own.

I was aimed, and pressed the fire button on the last tank which was an artie. We were winning with 8 tanks alive and someone decided to cap. One shot left to take out the last tank... Very irritating.

The meta change. I really liked that tank and other medium, but now... The combination of Avre and Taran... Damn its crazy hard. Even more when a avre hit and put on fire or you cant see a Taran, its cloaked. It even worst to play tier 8 and fight 10.... in this meta... Of course you get mad. Then you do a platoon of avre and you wrecked the oposition unless they got 5 avre... The avre doenst demand any skill. Me and my friends in a platoon we destroyed everything last saturday night. Even facing some of the best teams in WOT. I just couldnt stop laughing on how easy it was to wrecked every single tank. It was so easy that we got bored. Right now tanks like the centurion just cant cope with the one shoots killer on the field.

I prefer to play tier 8, but im getting to many tier 10 on both servers...

Artillery is broken now. Did the grind to the G.W. E100 and it has the same gun as the tier IX... Plus, before the update artilleries used to do 1 shot tanks and had good splash on the HE shells... Nowadays, the only 1 shots are AVRE's, the deathstars and the German tier X tank destroyers... I mean, really?! All just because of cry babies that can not put their brains to work and cover everytime the artillery marker comes up?? It's freaking simple... There's a specific sound and a specific icon on screen that informs you everytime enemy artillery tags you... Duck when you're tagged... 🤷 Bad players is the reason why this game is becoming harder and harder to grind tech trees... That's what I think.
There's always a third or more team mates that don't do a thing either to support or to help win the game... Those people should not play this game. Simple as that.

The paladin is literaly the AX but better. The AVRE is a T10, The AX and pladin are T8. Your grasping for straws again bub. Why do people even listen to you? Oh no Im a little heavy tank player that can't hide in the back and snipe for the whole game cus the AVRE put me in a pack. Thats what you sound like. Ive been playing T10s and the AVRE is not nearly as prevelent as you make it seem. Average player count per team is like 2 tops. You got the few times its 3, and the even rarer times its 6. But, thats rare as hell. But this wouldnt even be a discussion if it was 6 Is7's.
