Just had a colscopy or however you spell it since pap came back abnormal and I’m hpv positive. Maybe my phone heard me talking about it and promoted this but also they took some of the cells out and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced and I really think there should be more to reduce pain for women during these. I get the complications with numbing in the cervix but I’d rather be put to sleep than have to deal with that again. Curious what your thoughts are and if you have had other women have a really tough time during it.

Get your PAPS and your VACCINE! It doesn’t protect against all kinds of HPV, but it does protect against a few of the more dangerous ones that can lead to cervical cancer and other major health issues. Stay safe out there!

They need to make a vaccine for men as women we have to get these lovely paps done and etc... and if this could stop from the man, we may not have so many issues...

I’m a non married woman living in India and when I discussed Pap smear with my gynac, she got extremely offended and character shamed me saying no one would marry you if you insert anything inside you. She said no to me using tampons too lmao. Was blown away by her ignorance
