Provisioning compute resources has traditionally been hard to manage, not scalable, and prone to error, so what other techniques can you use to make sure you’re ready to meet demand? In this episode of Season of Scale, Stephanie Wong explains why you should adopt an Infrastructure as code (IaC) strategy, so you can automate the creation of your cloud resources, create templates, and store config files with the help of tools like Google Cloud Deployment Manager. Watch to learn how you can automate infrastructure provisioning!

Great product. But in most of the cases Terraform is a better choice and would be worth to mention. It is possible to create resources like like sql, engine, kubernetes clusters etc. but as well kubernetes secrets, monitoring uptime checks and to go even deeper with using it to setup other tooling like Fastly VPN or having multicloud solution with aws or azure.

Probably the biggest benefit is having reliable QA environment to mirror production.
