What Does Infrastructure as Code Mean?

In this video, Knox Hutchinson covers what infrastructure as code means. He’ll begin by outlining the theory behind this concept and some of the principles that govern it, illustrating how virtual machines use code to create a virtual infrastructure. By the end, you’ll have a firm grasp on the principles and the applications of infrastructure as code.

Knox starts off by listing a string of buzzwords we have all heard before — but then asks if we really know what those terms mean. He hones in on infrastructure as code and explains the thought process behind how VMs are created — by using code to define infrastructure.

The video will move from principle to application as Knox dives into some of the critical scripts necessary to successfully run VMs. You’ll also learn about some of the key components of VMs and how to assign operating systems, define services or roles, exist on a certain network, or have a particular VLAN tag.

I can always tell a smart person. They can explain complex things and it is clear and easy to understand. While a person who doesn't know enough uses confusing words and terms. Thanks ❤️
