I tried to get a visa for algeria in germany and they just send me away, had to bring my algerian dad with me the second time only to argue with the guys at the embassy for half an hour until they finally gave in. It’s really hard to get there if you aren’t a citizen from any arab country

love i algeria from the stories my father told. he was head of north africa and middle sea germany policy. he only tells most beautiful stories and bordering countries mainly the sky and sahara eft im deeply rendered in admiration

As an algerian I can tell tou that a US visa costs 185$ here it's also a 2 years multi entry visa, but you need to be interviewed at the US embassy, so you can imagine the travel expences that come with that, the whole process takes around 2 months depending on the availability of time slots for the interview "rendez-vous"

Algeria treats other countries nationals just like these countries treat algerian nationals. You got a 2 years multi entries visa because US visa to algerians is also 2 years and multi entries. You paid 160$ because this is the fee an algerian pays for a US visa 😊

It's a bit easier for me since I'm married to an algerian And I can get a family visa with a copy of his Algerian ID card. But the cost is still 160 for me and I get a 90-day Visa that is valid for 2 years and multiple entries.

Visa requirements for Americans are usually the same requirements the USA impose on the county you are trying to visit.
