Idk. I’ve tested the whole, “you gotta see it to truly appreciate it, ” mindset and it’s totally bs.

This stuff doesn’t get prettier or more memorable in person. Save your money, watch travel videos and don’t let anyone tell you you’re not living life to the fullest solely because you don’t wanna blow lots of cash for useless travel.

I was in a tram in Alger and this old guy selling napkins passed by me, stood 12 feet away and just started barking. His eyes were pointed at me. I speak enough Arabic but accent is so distorted that I couldn't understand a word. In another incident, I was going up on lift to the monument and this guy kept looking behind his fiancee to make sure I wasn't touching her. I was so tempted to tell him that she's not that good but resisted.
