Perfect opinion. When I got older, Superman turned into my favorite hero (young me always thought of him as silly), he is the greatest example of a superhero simply because of his drive to make the world a better place and inspire others, he's not there just to fight crime or punish (and avenge), he's there because he can see the best in everyone and want to make people know they can be this best

I would say Spider-Man fulfills both roles. He's very relatable and at the same time inspiring because he goes through what we do and still keeps moving forward despite how hard the world hits him.

I feel like this is why people love Spidey and Batman so much. Because you can relate to the darkness that Batman feels, or more accurately even the depression he feels and the drive to make change, and you’re inspired by the action he takes and resolve he has. With Spidey hes relatable for reasons we all understand, and he inspires you to take great responsibility with the power youre given.

Neither Marvel or DC are superior to one another. Both are filled with phenomenal and iconic storylines and characters as well as an extravagant amount of controversies, continuity errors and incohesive plots. Anyone arguing about which is better needs to realise this.

It’s inspiring seeing Superman reborn and hearing both his alien and human father speak to him about how he’s humanity’s hope, it’s also inspiring seeing Batman being inspired by Superman and looking to fix his error by uniting the JL

The best thing about superheroes (even anti heroes to a degree) is that every one of them can be inspiring in unique ways to people regardless of their origin. DC and Marvel do this fantastically with showing the power of inner potential and character and pursuing amazing ideals like kindness or compassion, or overcoming your own evils.

I think Marvel characters can inspire too because of the fact that they are relatable. Like Peter Parker is just a student (like his fans) that struggles, who got the chance to do good and he did. But also someone like Batman is an orphan who made himself a hero.
I think both companies have great inspiring heroes when you think of it that way.

I personally prefer the stories, and I love how, yes we aren’t always able to relate to characters, but we see very human aspects in them. For me, I love the Flash because he is like the perfect sci-fi hero, manipulating time and space. In the rebirth comics, he was very dependent on his powers leading to his own isolation and selfishness which he works on over time

I love how Marvel and DC both have genuine respect for each other and encourage each other's creations whereas the fans are like rabid dogs because they couldn't find anything better to do.
