In this video I made a carousel Marvel - DC Copycast characters.

1) I take information from Google.

2) Created a template in Adobe After Effects.

3) Added an audio track with the help of Sony Vegas Pro.

Rocket Raccoon and Dex-Starr were definitely one of the bigger stretches of the imagination. No comparable powers and aren't even based off of the same animal species.

Bullseye and Deadshot have different approaches in strategic attacks. Not every '' copycat '' is nessecerly a bad one

Though Deadpool was based on Deathstroke, I think the closest we have to him in comparison would be Taskmaster.

Thanos really is not a copycat of darkseid. People say “oh yeah the creator of thanos was told to ripoff darkseid”. That’s taken out of context, he was originally inspired by Metron but thanos was skinny so Jim starlin was told to make him buff like darkseid. That’s the only way they’re similar at all. Other than that their goals and background stories are totally different.

People seem to forget that marvel and dc shared a lot of writers so it wasn’t really copying. The writers just moved their work over to the other side aswell

I mean, I get the skull heads, but I never understand when Black Mask and Red Skull are thrown into a copycat lists when they only have one thing in common. Even then, Red Skull's head actually looks like that, Black Mask (as the name suggests) is just wearing a mask

For those who got confused who copied another, it comes alternatively one after another. It starts as Hyperion copy as Superman which was copied by marvel and next is Rocket red of DC copied from Iron man and it progresses like this

There are quite a few things wrong with this list, but that one at least made me chuckle.

Solomon Grundy and Hulk are only similar in terms of super strength and their build. Other than that, they're two completely different characters.

There are dozens of similar characters from other comic book companies similar to Superman like Homelander, Omni Man, Gladiator from Marvel and the list goes on. The same goes for the other top iconic characters on this list.
