Hey Tom, I have been a PGA Professional for 34 years. Everything you say is what I teach. I have said for years that if you turn your shoulders, the hips will turn, because its physically impossible to turn your shoulders without your hips turning. You seem to teach like I do, which is that your body will react as it should if you just turn your shoulders back and through. Thanks for the validation!!

I am self taught golfer of 67 years and my evolution ended with a golf swing very similar to yours. It got there with a personal philosophy that is similarly aligned with yours that is (KISS) Keep It Simple Stupid. You have actually given me slight refinements to even simplify it more.

You are so right about how the golf swing can totally destroy your back. For the last several years my back had been getting worse and worse. But I started doing the swing your way in August of 2023 and my back (and my game, and my general mobility) has been much better since. I deeply appreciate your work Tom, thank you.

I totally agree Tom. 
I have 3 degenerative disks in my lower back since my mid 20s and am now in my upper 60s. I now have more restrictions on my left side (side bends). The swing of Will and Natalie would absolutely jam my lower back, left hip, and SI joint. As well as cause indirect muscle aches (more like pain) in the hip flexors, groin muscles, and eventually pain all around the outside of the left knee. 
Stack and Tilt is so much easier on all these body parts. Although I had to be careful when starting the learning process S&T because the old swing would creep in and / or I would do the movements too fast and uncontrolled.
Absolutely love this channel! Keep up the great work!

Tom, I have been a student for about a year now and your instruction has literally transformed my game! I had zero confidence in my swing with way too many thoughts going through my head, but your simple approach allows me to play golf without having "paraylsis by analysis". My contact has greatly improved, I am hitting the ball farther than I ever have in my life, and I have no more back pain (I just turned 60)! By the way, I'm an avid guitar player and Skynyrd fan, love your Firebird!

I have watched a dozen of your swings in slo mo...Your hips ALWAYS lead in downswing....no exceptions. You are such a gifted teacher so would love to hear your feedback. They are not turning "later" as they begin to "fire" as you cpmplete backswing.

Played 18 at the local nine hole par 3 yesterday. Front nine my "old" swing and the back nine Tom's "chunk proof machine". Front I was +11 with zero greens hit. Back I was +2 with five greens hit. Night and day. No internal swing thoughts, it's all in the setup and address then once its "set" I just swing and it happens.. darts. Crispy mashed potatoes as Tom says. Wicked.

Tom, I love your analogy. Free Birds solo is at the end. Been working on my swing and improving my balance.I just shot my lowest score at a small 9 hole course near by with a 3 over. Keep rocking Free Bird. I also like Allens solo on The Needle and the Spoon!!!

Tom great insight! Get this I’ve taken the stack method and made my own version of it I lean forward on lead leg and straighten my right leg pushing toward target at address. And just swing all the room in the world no swaying! And works for me 60 years old 30 years of golfing and it’s never been easier on my back and body oh shot 76 last time out with 4 birdies. Stacking works

Im 46 with a bad back but Ive been working on the Rahm style swing with the Couples 5-6-7-8 tempo and it has cured my back pain caused from that swing Tom is speaking of with much more consistency . We will never hit every strike well. Pros and all these really good YouTubers don't even do it. It's all about raising the % of well hit balls. Instead of 3 or 4 out of 10, it turns into 7 or 8 out of 10  good strikes.

Thanks Tom, you make me laugh as well as instructing me! Love your straight forward explanation. I’m following this easy idea however my shots are almost all going left unless I drop my right shoulder on the down swing and keep facing back a little before the release - the shots go straight and it keeps my head in position nicely. Great video Tom. I tried firing hips years ago at the range and it was horrible. So true, it will kill your back. The best swings I have ever had were when I focused on my upper body.

Great video ! I had a guy at the range telling me this. Yet I’m hitting them pure down the pipe and he is all over the place. I said “yah that’s working for you” Great video thanks for finally showing the simple part of your swing.

I just recently found your channel, Tom. The videos are helping a lot! One of the huge problems I have is inconsistent contact, and when there’s contact, it’s thin or topped. At address, the club position looks good, and when I swing, my swing arc is lifting up at some point, and the club never hits the ground. I might be “standing up” in my swing, or doing something else weird. Do you have any videos on this topic? Thanks for all the help so far!
