There is absolutely no fix for the virtual memory leak. If you play the game for over 6 hours it will always crash no matter what. It crashes once the VMM consumption reaches 26gb. Custom or not, it will always crash. Disappointing that this has not been fixed still.

If you're gonna make a troubleshooting video, you need to explain what the heck is going on and if what you just showed even worked. It just looked like you were messing with the settings and said, "OK let's see if this does it" and didn't bother to tell us the results. So, did your game crash since you've made the change? My bet is it's happened again and you didn't say. As it stands, this video doesn't tell us anything.

I got Afterburner so as I could monitor my 3090 after watercooling the back and front, to make sure all was O.K. It bombs out at the start without fail.

Anyone who keeps getting this issue it could be you overclock or like me I think it was toggling the on screen display. I set my memory to 60000mbs and it kept happening. Noticed the other day though I was playing online and story mode for like 6 hours and it never happened and then I noticed I forgot to launch Msi afterburner. Just now I was playing again for several hours and then hit home to send a message to someone and the Msi afterburner onscreen display popped up and it instantly crashed, out of memory. Don't know if it's just Msi afterburner because my overclock is only like 30mhz I just use it for the onscreen display mostly for when im optimizing my graphics setting and the fan controls. And it happened the second I used the button that is the Rockstar social page and my toggle on screen display button. That could even be my issue because when I think back it seems like it happened a lot when I had the display up or I pressed home which toggled both social page and on screen display
