I use it for half year. With Macbook and/or iPadPro, there are no driver issues. I have even tried it with a linux laptop, and also works with it (with Audacity or smaller free DAW softwares). Midas preamp works very nice for this price!

Great review. I've been using the UMC22 for a couple of years now and have had good luck with it so far. I also have other Behringer products including mics, mixers, and the 4-port audio interface and have found them to be very dependable. I think for the money they are really good options. Granted, I did just pick up an Audient EVO 4 for my home studio, but then I like gear. ;-)

My UMC22 has that static sound you showed at the very end before you swapped yours... Watching your video made me realize my static sound wasn't cables or my microphone, but instead it was the interface. A bit sad to realize and I'm out of warranty by now, but at least I now know that this is a problem with the interface and I dont have to spend anymore on replacing parts that are just fine. It was a really nice to work with when it didn't have the constant static problems. Good review!

Hey, just found this video since Im still using my UMC22 from an old audio setup that I bought for cheap. I since uograded to a Rode Podmic and can barely get it to clip when talking loudly while being right in front of the mic.
I would like to have more headroom and am wondering what I should do. Ive been considering a Fethead/Cloudlifter, a interface with more gain or an amplifier run infront of the audio interface. Im confused on what I should do, when researching it seems like they all basically give me more „clean gain“ which should result in a similar sound quiality, no?

I hooked my JBL 305p mk2 to it, and those have a switch called "Input Sensitivity" with two settings: +4dBu -10dBv Which one should I use with this interface?

Im using umc22 and now i have a problem.. When i open the phantom power, everything is okay, until a few minutes later.. It start to having a noise.. I did some research on internet, they said maybe because of the usb.. I changed the usb but still the same... Or do i need a usb power hub for this??

i only got a hissing noise when recording in fl studio, when i monitor the audio although low it sounds perfect. What's the problem?
