I appreciate the advice to join classic Mini groups. It's hard to find them in Tulsa Oklahoma, but I will keep looking. Keep up the Mini videos! I can't wait to see her back on the road.

Good on you Josh, your videos are great and all the better for this extra background on small suppliers. I love minis (you could lose the clear lens rear lights though) and will be following until you get back to the GT6. And then no doubt I'll be following that!

I meant to say in the last video that you said the subframe was a pattern part, it is a replacement part but it’s a genuine rover one (nice). The rear of the subframe is always bent/ dented, as people jack it up there (naughty, but every now and again you might have to). I think you know my view on the heel board. The jig idea is a nice thought, but I believe we should be encouraging people to replace the whole thing (better, simpler & not that more effort). Cover sills 🤦‍♂️ enough said 🤣

Hi Joshua, glad you said P&L have moved as I live in Yorkshire was my local place bugger lol..

As for heal board as your replacing full boot/ seat panel I'd fit full heal board in be easier to weld in I think!.. you will just have to think of measurements for fitting..

Another class video Josh, leaving me wanting more! Is the mini going into the permanent collection once you’re done?

Oversills are a big no for me, all the repairs your gonna have to do, will be undone within a year or two due to rotting out again with the trapped moisture.. As you’re changing the full boot floor you may as well go full heel board as it’s welded along the top into the seat base panel, new fresh metal is always best… long drive to P&L, wouldn’t mini spare in York been a lot easier? Keep it up enjoying the posts…
